3. 100mm Faders (Sliders)

From our days as a mixer manufacturer, we have a quantity of very good quality mono 100mm faders (sliders) for sale. These are copies of the Alps fader design, with the control finger running on a lubricated rail or spindle, giving ultra-smooth operation.

Perfect for replacing noisy or intermittent faders on both audio and lighting consoles, they can be yours for just £2.00 plus VAT & postage.
They are packed in fitted trays of 16 pieces, with 3 trays per box, so it would be helpful if you can order in multiples of 16 (or boxes of 48).

The nominal value is 'A10K' Logarithmic.  Please note we do not have any Linear versions, which would be what is needed for MIDI control applications. The fixing centres are 120mm apart, fixing screws and knobs are not supplied.

Among many other mixers, these are a direct replacement for the Peavey AMR (Audio Media Research) range including 800, the 1600, and the 2400 models, and should work in the Peavey Mark VIII line.  Also Allen & Heath GL2000 and, with minor modifications, the Hill Multimix. 4. MTR GE-1010 Graphic Equaliser

Ex-demonstration, as new, 19" 1u high, 1 only:

This is a 10 band stereo grahic e.q. with peak leds and volume controls for each channel, and a true hard-wired Bypass switch.  It also has a 6dB/12dB range switch, which sets the faders to boost or cut over ±6dB for precise fine tuning, or ±12dB for more severe equalisation.

The e.q. bands are 30, 60, 120, 250, 500Hz, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8K and 16kHz.  Inputs and outputs are on jack sockets, and there is a rear panel ground lift.  A very well made unit, was £182.00, now discontinued so half price: £90.00  To order: sales@mtraudio.com

5. ARX Systems Signal Processors

Ex-demonstration, these are as new, all 19" 1u high, and there is only 1 of each:

DDP-1: Stereo Compressor/Gate/Peak limiter. Both channels have all three functions, each of which can be used independently or in combination with each other. Switchable in/out level metering and gain reduction meter. Sidechain inserts, balanced in and out on XLR and jacks.  Each channel of the DDP-1 features, a Noise Gate; a variable ratio Compressor ranging from 1:1 to infinity:1; and an independent Peak Limiter following after the Output Gain. All three of these gain control elementsare discrete, allowing fast accurate setup with no interaction. A total of 27 LEDs per channel provide a comprehensive visual display of all channel functions and controls, with 'wide scale' switchable Input/Output Level metering, and a separate Gain Reduction meter.

Amp Records, the UK’s leading label for synthesiser and experimental music, presents it’s first sampling CD. The classic and modern synths and drum machines recorded here offer a huge range of sounds and textures, which are combined in the opening demo piece to give an idea of how these powerful analogue and digital voices can interact.

Most of the monophonic and non-MIDI synths are recorded ‘dry’ on one channel and ‘ambient’ on the other, to help with the creation of stereo samples, or to give a choice of ambient levels by mixing samples to mono.
